Senao bridge web interface
I hooked up a Senao Engenius 2611-CB3-PLUS bridge to a Win98 PC. If I set the PC to use DHCP, I can't reach the web interface for the Senao at 192.168.1.1 if I have a WLAN connection. I can reach the web interface fine if I don't have a WLAN connection. I tried changing the IP address of the Senao, but that didn't help. No problem reaching the internet. I would rather not use a static IP on the PC.
Any ideas how I can have both the internet and the web interface available at the same time? |

1) Set a static IP temporarily on the PC 192.168.1.x.
2) Reboot. 3) Access the AP. 4) Change the AP to the IP needed. 5) Change the IP on the PC back to DHCP. 6) Reboot.

That's basically what I have been doing when I want to access the web interface on the Senao bridge. Unfortunately, as soon as I turn DHCP back on and reboot, I can no longer reach it. I was hoping for way to be able to access both the internet and the Senao web interface without rebooting each time. I have no problem doing this on my Linksys wired router.

I changed the Senao bridge IP to 192.168.1.4 and rebooted it and it holds the address. I can reach the web interface as long as I have PC set up with a static IP like 192.168.1.2 . As soon as I turn on DHCP on the PC and reboot the PC, I can again connect to the internet, but not to the Senao bridge web interface.
From ipconfig /all I get DHCP settings such as: IP address: 192.168.2.103 subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 default gateway: 192.168.2.1 DHCP server: 192.168.2.1 |

192.168.1.x verses 192.168.2.x Either make the third octet all 1 or all 2, otherwise they're on seperate networks. You need to read up on Networking 101
