Site survey Gold card won't work with Valuepoint ?
I just recently bought a Valuepoint SuperAP 500 g. I intend to use it in a hotel situation.

The chipset in it is such that it won't do all the site survey functions that the Orinoco Gold Classic card is capable of. So now I'm at a loss as what PC card to get that will work with the Valuepoint, so that it will do site survey functions.

If I use the Orinoco Gold Classic card with my Engenius AP I can see (for both the AP and the Client), the signal to noise ratio, packets sent and received, speed, signal strength, etc.

But the Valuepoint SuperAP 500 g won't work with my Orinoco Gold Classic card. I'm pretty bummed out about that.

If it only had a Prism chipset in it, then it would have worked. Cause it works with my Engenius AP and the Engenius has the Prism chipset in it.

Can anyone tell me please what card will perform site survey functions, without having to spend $3000 for site survey equipment from Airmagnet?
