SMC cards - latest drivers - where???

I've read that some have gotten NetStumbler to work with the SMC 2632 cards. I've been to the SMC site. I download what looks like the latest drivers... but NS no workie when I run it.

I'm running Win2kPro on a laptop with an SMC 2632W card. Latest version of drivers appears in my system as 1.32.0. Someone says they've got 1.32.1. I'm just wondering where to find those "later" drivers.

TIA

No luck on my end w/ w2k, either. Will try this new set of drivers.

Thanks again

Thumbs up SMC2632W and NS: works fine with firmware upgrade

Win2k, SMC2632W with 0.08.03 firmware and NS 0.3.30
- works great.
Thanks for the pointers!

No luck

Hi,
running w2K, NS 0.3.30, SMC 2632W (with the downloaded flash from the thread above).
I still get " a device attached to this system is not functioning"
Any suggestions?
Thanks

smc 2632 works with the prism driver

email us at compworx_computers@yahoo.com for the driver, then boot into safe mode and remove your cards driver, now install the driver that we sent you (It's the industry standard NDIS 5 driver) and reboot, if you need any help, email Tech Support at the above address.

check out the thread at:
http://forums.netstumbler.com/showth...ore+on+the+usr

or just search for the one titled "more on the usr2410 nic"

apparently several manufacturers use the same basic hardware as the SMC 2632. I have used the US robotics firmware & driver on my SMC 2632 with win 2k and XP and netstumbler has worked each time.

SMC EZ Connect Turbo 2435W works

Thanks to your link on the newest drivers, my SMC 2435W EZ Connect Turbo now works with Net Stumbler!

Thanks so much.

Also, I didn't do any firmware changes. As far as I can see, I haven't found any firmware for the SMC wireless adapters.

Thanks again.
