Post SMC Networks SMC2336W-AG EZ-Stream "Can I use External antenna yes or no?"

Hi there,

I want to buy this card. SMC Networks SMC2336W-AG EZ-Stream Universal Wireless Cardbus Adapter. But I can’t find any info if the card can be used with an external antenna. (this site does but nobody can confirm it http://www.seattlewireless.net/index...db27b75ead27c5 I e-maild SMC sales info but they haven’t responded yet. Does anybody have this card and know if it is any good?

Many thanks in advance,
Regards,
Tomas

If you look at the datasheet on SMCs site http://smc.com/files/AH%5CDS_2336WAGv2.pdf you will see that it has a built in antenna.

You can just about always use an external antenna.
Whether or not it has a jack for one is different...but it ought to have solder pads in there.
