I'm actually looking at one of these for the van.

If it had space for a Winradio card I'd go for it but it doesn't even have an FM radio.

Speaking of which, are you ever going to post specs and pictures on how the van was finally rigged? Or is it still ongoing?

I'm actually taking off work tomorrow and doing extensive maintenance on it. We haven't started using it yet, don't really need to get it registered and insured until May.

When it's done, it just might have one of those DIN CarPC's a flipdown DVD player for the kidlings, a Laptop mount like the one in my Jimmy and maybe a permanent mount GPS. I'm also considering one them nifty backup cameras that I've been seeing lately. Comes with a color camera that mounts on your license plate holder and a 4" color screen.

Ah, I misunderstood the use of the word "van." I was thinking the sewer-cam truck that was being rigged for WiFi. It sounds like you have a personal automotive project, too!

Oh yeah, our Sewer Cam Van. They decided against going for a Wifi connection in it and opted for a stupid Maxtor One Touch Backup USB POS.

I actually like the Maxtor One-Touch units, and have been recommending them for client's back-ups. Although I don't know if that would be the best way to go from what I remember of the Sewer Cam Van's description.

The words "back up " and "Sewer" really should not be mentioned in the same paragraph.
