solder directly on antenna

Would soldering a wire directly on the internal antenna of my my wifi card to my home made yagi work? I asthetics dont matter.

Assuming you know what you're doing, it will work fine. It's been done before.

What do you mean by "a wire"? If its a rubbish wire, and long as well, you probably won't see any advantage at all.

Do a search, I have a feeling you might need to attach a pigtail to it for it to be any use at all...
