SpeedStream wireless card
I have a NIB a SpeedStream SS1021 wireless PCMCIA card. Does anyone have any experience with this card, and know which chipset it uses? I called SpeedStream support (Efficient Networks, a Siemens Company) and they didn't have any idea. If there is any doubt that it won't work with NS, I'll send it back and exchange it for an Orinoco Gold.

I think SunStream is 5.8GHz.
In the WirelessISP forums, the SunStream talk is all 5.8GHz.

Check Speedstream.com for the specs (other than the chipset :^) on the card. Its a 802.11b card. I called Computers4sure and got a RMA to return the Speedstream card. I then ordered an Orinoco Gold card shipped 2 day delivery. If I get a chance, I might play with the Speedstream card (today) before I send it back tommorrow.
