Tough Mini ITX Case

Hey,

Anyone know of a tough Mini ITX case availible on the market? The board I'd like to use is this one: http://www.mini-itx.com/store/?c=2#p1645 The project would be simular to a Janus one but a ready to go solution would be great. Can Mini ITX be battery powered? Its possible I'd say with the right sort of set up.

Any Idea's? And Many Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. That would be fairly tough. However, I'd like a Janus Style set up. So a incorporated screen would be a neat touch. I might just buy a Pelican 1550 Case. Might save me some hassle down the road.

Here's a quick question, what type of glue will stick to a pelican case?? I've got one of the older custom fit your video camera cases that I'm going to use. I was thinking of cutting up some pvc and turning it into a sludge with some acetone, but if anyone has a better idea.

Okay, now that I'm short a tooth, how about something structural? Something to be able to mount standoffs and things like that.

Google how they repair sport bike plastic, they use a form of hot air welding.

I'm going to use one I have laying around. I figure the cheaper the better for this case. If it breaks, it won't be too bad to replace. The display is going to be the most delicate part of the whole project. I just happen to have a 17" scepter lcd sitting on my rack in the garage that I only use every once and a while to test new server equipment the first couple of boots. I can throw a crt in there just as well.

Hey, what type of wireless connectors are you going to use on your box?? I'm thinking of using rp-tnc's so I can use plain-jane linksys antenna on it when it's sitting on a desk.

From Dutch on MSN...

Phone transcript between vendor and Barry :
<Barry Eastwood> I know what you're thinking. "Will he use amex, or visa? " Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a Church Of WiFi project, the most interesting projects in the world, and would incur great marketing possibilities for you, you got to ask yourself a question : Do we ship to Alaska? Well, do ya, punk ?"
