"TrueMobile 1150"
I was just wondering if any of ya'll have heard anything good about the "Dell TrueMobile 1150" or what. I saw it on the faq as being supported but being supported doesn't mean it's a good card =)
So.. anybody own one? Like it? Or anybody hear anything good/bad about it? Thanks =) |

Yeah? Great as in? *G* Never want a new card? Or what's the "best"(I know. it's like asking the best release of Linux) 802.11X card anyhow? Anybody know? =)
Thanks again =) And thanks for the -FAST- reply! Wow! |

it's physically/electrically identical to the orinoco's...the only diff is really the vendor id. it has the same port as a lucent badged card.
update: hmm...ok i guess some of them are rebadged orinocos...weird. the ones that overstock.com carries for $39 are not orinocos. perhaps someone else can shed some light on this? http://forums.netstumbler.com/showth...&threadid=2245

Has anyone purchased one of these cards from overstock.com, or know for sure that the non-orinoco version works with NS and has an external connector? This seems like a great deal, but id like to know for sure.
