You cant tweak the output on your card. It is a design of the chip, not software.
Orinoco's and all the Agere based cards are only putting out about 30mw, the first series of Cisco cards were the same. now the new 352 series are at 100mw. |

It's all in-house research
![]() I've cloned firmware from one card to another, changed MAC addresses, modded for all 14 channels, etc. - there are tools out there that will allow this. I'm not going to post a FAQ or tutorial on this, as it's likely you'll turn a card or two into bricks, so unless you're prepared for that, it's not adviseable to try. If you look around, you'll find Intersil test software, as well as a couple of firmware updaters that can also dump the card's firmware into a file. Cheers, Mother |
