Two clients with same MAC

Lets say I have two computers connected to a wireless AP, and both those clients had the same MAC address. Would both computers get disconnected or just confused due to 'unknown' (the other computers) data beeing transmitted to them?

Because one is running with a spoofed MAC address. That's not the point, I just want to know what would happen.

Try it and see what happens then. Why would you need to spoof a mac to duplicate an already existing mac? Hardware manufacturers do a good job of not putting the same mac on more then one device, even given the numbers of devices they produce.

There are some places where you would probably get your computer shoved up your *** , or worse, by the owner[s] of the other equipment when they catch you.

If you had the remotest clue as to how Ethernet and the OSI model works you would never be asking this question.

So, why don't you just run along now, the big boys have things to talk about.

Although I don't think the printer guys take as much care.

I frequently see lots of HP printers using the same BSID.

If it's running, you might want to catch it before it runs off.
