USB Question for NS

The laptop that I have does not have a serial port, but I have seen USB to Serial converters. Will that work with NS?

Yes, I use one with my Garmin GPS and NS.

Yes, I got a Belkin USB to serial converter off of ebay for $14 shipped, and they retail for about $30.... It works perfectly in Windows XP and RH7.3.
