USB Wireless Lan card? (no pcmcia on laptop)
iam getting a laptop.. only problem is no pcmcia slots... wondering what usb cards i can use with netstumbler.. thanks in advance guys and gals..

The Orinoco USB client works from what I've read. There was even instructions on how to modifiy it for an external antenna floating around here.

no PCMCIA??? what kind of laptop is that...
all laptops i've seen have them, even those ultra portable ones... only the iBook doesnt have PCMCIA, but it has an internal slot for the airport card... but i bet this guy knows better than that... at least he should anyways, i have one of them Linksys WUSB11's and it works like a charm |
