Your welcome. I hope someone can use them.
The device works with NS on XP pro using NDIS 5.1, and also shows a Prism2 option.

Make: Xmedia Model: IT-WL541 FCCID: MQ4WG2K4 Name: 802.11g Wireless LAN CardBus PC Card Made in Taiwan. Info obtained while replacing the bland SMT Orange "Power" LED with a nice Blue replacement SMT LED: Main Chipset Info: Texas Instruments TNETw1130GVF 4BPL238 DC Firmware Version: 2.3.1.31 EEPROM Version: 5.2.0 Also, this aparently rebranded card has a spot for a MMCX jack to be soldered on, with the repositioning of a SMT capacitor to allow the signal to propagate to the optional external antenna jack. I have not seen one of these with an external antenna jack (yet), but I'm soon to modify mine. I suspect this card is being sold under the brand name Xmedia (IT-WL541), Hawking (HWC54G), AddOn (ADD-GWK140), Xterrasys (XN-2423G), Sceptre (SC254W+ [there are two versions of the SC254W+, the FCC ID MQ4WG2K4 matches one of them]), and Innocom Tech. Inc (IT-WL541), as well as others (suspicion is based solely upon FCC ID's). From what I can tell (and I could be wrong), Innocom Tech. Inc. (www.innocomtech.com) is the manufacturer, and the card is rebranded by resellers. It is Netstumbler compatible (using Win2kPro, haven't tried it under XP yet), purchased from eBay for around $22 shipped, and it's capable of both 802.11b and 802.11g protocols. Supports 64, 128, and 256 bit WEP, WPA2, and "Any WPA" as per the Wireless LAN Configuration Utility (Utility Version 7.0.1.33 from Innocom Tech's website). Sub-Chipset Info: Two other noticeable chips (probably RF related - I haven't cross-referenced them yet) are onboard. Radia Chips RC2422B HK0450 D3Y5 Radia Chips RC2226 HK0451 If requested, I will post external and internal pics in the near future, as I've already had this card apart about a dozen times now. I have no fear opening up electronic devices - I only fear releasing their magical smoke when reassembled and powered up again. Last edited by Byte : 08-20-2005 at 04:17 AM. |

Cannot Find Server or DNS Error. Have you checked it lately? I tried accessing wrzwaldo.org last night, and it got me nowhere but that "The page cannot be displayed" error, with Cannot Find Server or DNS Error at the bottom. Heck, I thought your site was offline till you posted this link this morning. Could you please check yer setup, cause I can surf every properly config'd website out there, but I can't surf yours!
