What Prism2 cards are really working?
Hi
i'm searching for a good wlan prism2 card to buy.. but the more i search around the more confused i get. hopefully someone can clear me up. i heared lots of stuff about cards. for example that the Linksys WPC11 isn't working at all under linux. maybe other cards too with prism2? i also heared some got the Cisco Aironet 340 working with Airsnort. Maybe someone can say for sure what works and doesn't work with Airsnort.. i would appreciate it |

The d-link dwl-650 works in linux (but not yet in NS)
[as does the dwl-500; which is essentially a dwl-650 with a PCI to PCMCIA bridge that uses the yenta_socket pcmcia driver.] In older kernels is is supported by the wvlan driver, in newer kernels the orinoco_cs driver is needed.. [yes the orinoco driver has support for that card even though it is a prims and not a hermes card] |
