wireless project help..... with pics!!!

Hopefully someone can help me and my friend achieve this. We are thinking of installing an AP in the yellow area with a 12db omni, and repeaters in the far corners to get those last little areas. Our thoughts are to use Cisco APs (which I have used before), but any other suggestions would be welcome. Please email or post with any questions, this should be a fun project!!!

So what's your actual question?

If the layout seems right, and if there's any intermediate equipment that you might recommend. They are hoping for $1500 in hardware costs so I might not be able to swing the Ciscos.

Or any other thoughts / suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

So this is gonna be wireless for what appears to be an apartment complex.

Where is the internet connection gonna be?

Is your central AP gonna be at the top of a pole?

Have you done a site survey?

Have you spoken with whomever is providing internet service to determine if you can do what you're planning on doing?

Internet will be 2.5M SDSL, and has been authorized for this use with the local ISP.

The AP will be on top of a pool shed, and can then be on a pole if need be.

No site survey as of yet.

Hope that helps some.

That seems to be a confusing complex to live in, they're all 'building 2'.

Number 9.....number 9.

When do you plan on getting to the survey? Your layout cannot be considered right or wrong until you do a site survey.

Except for Nessie, she would have to claim the pool as home.
