WPA Shared Key = No IP from DHCP
I am trying to use WPA Shared Key on my Linksys WRT54G v2.0. I am using TKIP as my WPA Algorithms. I get a connection but I cannot get an IP address from the routers DHCP server. When I switch the security to WEP I get an IP address and have web access. The wireless card I am using is the dell true mobile wireless 1300 built into my Dell Latitude D600. I also have the latest firmware for the router.
Now here is the interesting part. When just using WEP on my wireless router I can only keep my connection for about 5 minutes and then I get disconnected. If you have anymore questions let me know. |
