XPSP2, O-Gold, NS .04, BEFW11S4 linksys router

I'm only about 25 feet from my router. I've got WEP and MAC filter on, ant dev is left spread only. My green icon in Stumbler blinks occasionally GREEN/GRAY. I look at the graph and it appears that the router is not broadcasting solidly. There are gaps every few seconds. I see this in a few other APs but they are just within range and I expect them to be in/out.

I've played with the router but nothing helps. Internet seems to stay up but there are more disconnects then there should be.

Any ideas? I just bought the router so I can return it.
Graph should be solid green all thru the middle, right?

You may reply here or email me at jasonhowze@earthlink.net
I tried to attached a 5 min capture of the graph.

Are you connected to your network or testing the strength from an 'any' profile?

...and cross-posting is rude and pisses people off, especially the mods. Don't do it again.

Are you seeing the disconnects while connected to your network and running NS?

Not necessarily. But I wouldn't expect to see what you have there either.

Therein lies the problem. NS isn't made for use while connected to the network, per se.

To do it, uncheck the "Reconfigure card automatically" option under: View | Options | General. This will limit you to just your network, but you should see the displayed graph run without major disconnects.

Close ns, wait until you have a connection, try again.
