Yagi antenna and Orinoco
Can I use a standard Orinoco Gold with an Yagi antenna or do I have to get a specific card for use with this antenna?

Which antenna is to prefer for listening on leaking radio-LANs?

A Yagi should work fine, provided you have a cable to connect it to your NIC. As to which antenna, that really depends on what you are trying to do. I like to use an omni because it lets me discover the networks around me. I'm not interested in eavesdropping on a LAN that is distant from me, so a directional isn't for me.
