Zyxel USB Wifi adapter/Finder

New from the folks over at Zyxel

It's a USB adapter with it's own battery so it can function as a wifi finder with LCD display.

It's got a "Soft-AP" mode also

Turn Your Laptop Into a Access Point
Not only does the AG-225H act as a hotspot finder and a client adapter, it can also turn
your computer into an instant wireless access point. Perfect for conference rooms,
meeting rooms, and hotels where you have one wired network connection, but multiple
computer users. You can share that network connection wirelessly by simply plugging
your computer into the Ethernet port and your AG-225H into your computer.
This appears to be seperate from setting up a Ad-HOC network with ICS.

I think that would make a perfect xmas present for all of us, and since you found it, I think you should buy them.

Did anyone see how it discovers APs? Now all they need is a built in GPS.

That is pretty smooth. One thing I didn't notice is if it can keep a list of APs and WEP/WPA settings for all the APs you have permission to access.

Also I wonder if it can make the connection to the AP without the computer connected. This would be handy since alot of our clients have larger offices and purposely don't have wireless coverage to the front of the building.
