this is the biggest flame board i have ever seen in my life

whats all this talk about me not having kids and this damaging to your body.

2.4 ghz band might damage your body if you stand outside and strap a grid antenna to your head for a very long duration and stand there.

Otherwise, the amount of power emitted by a wireless network is significantly less than the power leaked out of your microwave

i dont see home microwaves being banned by the fcc

thanks to the two people that made mention of interconnecting amps i do not want to damage my equipment and you are correct i definitely should have researched this more. from what i can tell the amps are still functioning flawlessly

i have learned some things though.

I like testing wifi equipment it is just a neat hobby i think

i am concerned with how everyone keeps mentioning how this can damage your body and the mention of not having kids??

It's too bad that you don't like to use the shift key though. If you're concerned about not having kids, then you should probably cease and desist with this 'neat hobby'.

But you'd be OK if you did it inside?

Otherwise, the amount of power emitted by a wireless network is significantly less than the power leaked out of your microwave

And you have data to back this up? Exactly how much leakage is there and what is the allowable limit?

i dont see home microwaves being banned by the fcc

I wonder why that is? Could it be proper system design? Unlike your kludge.

Another stellar post from the fucktard section!

Some people invite flames by the nature of their posts.

Jesus, that's most ignorant series of statements I've seem this year. And you're wonder why you're getting flamed?

Manufacturers and the FCC both recommend that no one come within less than 20cm of non-amplified 802.11 equipment for safety reasons.

When you begin using amplifiers and antennae you can exceed the Effective Radiated Power level of a microwave oven if you didn't know what you are doing. The ERP can also quickly exceed legal levels established by the FCC.

I would suggest you quickly study up on "Near field radiation" and ERP levels.

wrzwaldo lol, you act like your a kid which i am sure you are so ill forgive you

and as far as harming your body. the world will be brain dead in 20 more years from cell phone

all this is not fact and has not been proven that wifi can damage your body. im not buying it for one.

there is no proof out there that i have found that it does in fact damage your body and personally it sounds like a bunch of hype that some hysteria mongers started

ok right now all of us have radio waves shooting through our bodies and as did our parents and our grandparents.

dang looks like with more wireless cell phone and internet transmissions and more radio stations being built the world is at its end and the bible failed to predict that the rapture was going to be caused by wireless rf transmissions, mwhahahhahaa

So tell us, where did you get your advanced degree in RF theory and Near Field Radiation? Because I wouldn't want to go there as they appear to cause people to fail to use proper English.

As said earlier, no further warnings will be forthcoming.
