I just got one of these:

Premiertek Rocket PT-H9D-ROC-1W 802.11g Wireless LAN USB 2.0 Adapter w/9dBi Outdoor Antenna Premiertek PT-H9D-ROC-1W

It's using the Ralink 3070 chipset and I got it configured with Backtrack 4 VM. There was one little trick to get it configured with BT4 which was to download the firmware from Ralinks website and replace the file that's on the BT4 VM.

I haven't done much testing with it yet, it does work in Kismet. My plan for this is to modify the base that came with it to use suction cups and attach it to the side rear window. Using vegetable oil to hold the seal on the suction cups instead of spit or water. I plan to get a powered USB 2.0 hub and plug it and my USB GPS into it and leave it mounted in the car, so I only have to plug in one wire.

I also picked up one of these:

VR3 VRTP4N1C 4-in-1 110W DC to AC & USB Mobile Power Inverter w/FM Transmitter VR3 VRTP4N1C

Should be good for outputting the PC sounds into the stereo as well as providing a USB charging source and 120vac.

I'll post pictures of everything once I get it all mounted.
