Invalid link to MapSource converter

Postby heartland » Fri Nov 21, 2003 12:51 pm

Just tried to get to the MapSource converter. The link as shown in the Faq (in a post in August 2003) is no longer valid.

Anyone know of a URL for a NS to MapSource converter, so I can plot found AP's on MapSource?

Regards,

There is a link at the bottom of this page: http://home.comcast.net/~jay.deboer/wardriving/

BTW, I recently upgraded my Garmin MapSource Windoze software (to 5.3) and it "forced" me to upgrade the firmware in the eTrex Vista (to 3.50). Previously, with NetStumbler 3.30, the default GPS settings worked just fine. With Garmin 3.50, I have to switch to NMEA at 4800 baud to get GPS data. Anyone else experience this?

Too bad the program limits you to the 100'th occourance of a SSID... Stupid Linksys AP owners...
"Yeah," said a voice from under the table, "you go to pieces so fast people get hit by the shrapnel."
