logging signal strength

Postby Guest » Tue Mar 26, 2002 10:43 pm

Hi,

I am trying to export the *.ns1 file to a *.txt file. I am able to do that but the problem is, in the txt file the signal strength is given in a different format(i think!).
Is there a way so that I get the same signal strength reading as in dbm in the exported file txt file.

For example when am running netstumbler the signal strength is given as lets say -30 dbm but when i export the saved data to a txt file it says 190...

any help would be much appreciated,

thanks

Damn, ever consider looking at the date of the thread before you reply? This thing is almost 3 years old.

And the answer is easily searched for.

This thread has been dead three years, and preceeded the question being in the FAQ.

First, read the Welcome Desk and see about reviving old threads. Then, READ THE FAQ.
