Stumbling apps for atheros based cards

Postby sleepyhead » Sun Dec 19, 2004 9:18 am

i recently picked up a netgear WG511U card and it works well but istumbler and mac stumbler only work with airport based cards. I'm still messing with kismac to see if i can get that to work with my card. Do you guys know of any other programs out there that i can try. I am using orangewares drivers to run this card. thanks

Kismet works with Atheros cards on linux using the MadWIFI drivers.

what about packet injection with atheros based cards? KisMAC has the feature disabled in the preferences...does it work anyways? e.g. with other tools?
