Will these cards allow me to scan in passive mode and inject packets?

 Did Al Gore take over the dept. of education and changed the curicullum to include that the ability to break wep encryption is a mandatory skill which all educators must enforce being taught to their pupils ??

Amazing how many "Schoolprojects" we've seen that involves breaking wep lately...

Hold on]you[/I] might have to do some work yourself.

Sorry, I've got to go vomit... The thought of someone working on their own school project was just too much at such an early time in the mornig.

I have access to over 2000 high school students. I can probably scare one into writing your report for you.

Also, I have a macbook pro, no pcmcia slots. I've never needed to inject packets either. As the rest of the regulars here know, if I find a rogue access point I just rip the thing off the wall. No need to crack the encryption.

They don't put explosives or caustics in the chemistry sets anymore so this is apparently the next illogical progression.

Hey Barry can you get them to wash/wax my car before I trade it for a minivan?

It's a shame that "this friend of mine" will have to travel to the arctic circle to meet any of them though. All that cold air's bound to turn them frigid. ;)

I know a few people that were helping with that project. The house is about a half mile from mine. They have a freaking football field in the back yard now.

Just think about all the help you had with your back yard, you had way more cooler stuff in your backyard.

Well, getting the damn wireless card to work is just the tip of the iceberg. I was just hoping that I ask some knowledgable people about the wireless card before I go out and spend some cash. And telling me if a card will work or not is not equivalent to "doing the whole project".

Lets say you are building a custom sports car and want a recommendation on what kind of tyres you should use from a friend. The friend is obvioulsy not going to build the car for you, nor is he going to install the tyres.

So the point that Im getting to is...its completely normal to ask for advice and I bet you guys did the same when you were new to this stuff.

Cant belive I have to philosophies to get a straight answer from this forum. thanks and no thanks.

Yeah, but I don't ask on the Ford truck forum how to hotrod my Volvo 940, either.

Don't let the doorknob get stuck in your ass on the way out.

F*ckstick.
