Of course you could also just choose to continue whacking people in the head every time they stick their neck out in the forums as many of you seasoned users seem to like doing. That's hardly a constructive way for a community to move forward and it's certainly the reason why I've never bothered to stick around and contribute in the longer term.

Other cards do function to a point via NDIS.

add to the list of stuff that does not work with ministumbler: HP iPAQ rx1955

I am running Windows Mobile 5, and according to vxUtil, this device has a "TIACXWLN1 - HP iPAQ Wi-Fi Wireless Adapter" (seems quite useless to me, but i didnt want my head chopped off and thrown at the faq).

somebody should tell this to ministumbler. ;) i am making due with wififofum for the time being; i am unfortunately not yet wealthy enough to send the dev a device identical to mine. :/

best regards

Ministumbler doesn't find the wi-fi adapter of HTC Universal (Qtek 9000, Imate Jasjar, Vodafone v1640, etc.).

It doesn't seem to work on the Ipaq rx5915 :(
Would be cool because this ipaq has wi-fi card built in with b and g support.

Message in status bar - "No wireless adapter"

My configuration is HP iPAQ hw6515 (having internal GPS) and Spectec SDW-820. Do you know a compatible driver for this card?

Netstumbler error

Postby laferi25 » Tue Feb 27, 2007 12:10 am

i recent downloaded netstumbler for a school project and it says that "no wireless adapter found". i've never used this software before so i don't know what to do. im not sure if its just not compatible with my wireless adapter, which is a Broadcom 802.11 Multiband Network Adapter or whether there's a compatibility issue with the software itself and my operating sytem, Windows Vista Business. Can someone please help me determine what the deal is and how i can fix it?

also looking for a compatible driver

Edit: this works though WIFOFUM http://www.aspecto-software.com/rw/applications/wififofum/installer/index.html

We knew that already, it's an unsupported OS.

just brought the ol' axim x5 outta the closet for some warwalking & driving. confirmed here on wm2003. seems the ambicom doesn't play well (or at all) with ministumbler. bummer. :(
