I need it for

1 configure using an ethernet card some ap
2 aim antennas, using maybe Mini Stumbler ( so i ll need wifi card)
3 benchmark using the ethernet card to see how is working the aps

what do you recommend?
Using a CF to pcmicia card and buy pcmcia ethernet and wifi adapter?, i need to open the wifi adapter to set a connector for the external antenna :(

Alot of people here seem to use the Compaq/Hp Ipaq with the PCMCIA battery sleave. you can get em on Ebay cheap or you can order a new one.. Be SURE the model you get can take the PCMCIA battery expansion pack.

I use an old 3835 Ipaq (64 meg ram and 200 mhz cpu) and it works just fine for MiniStumbler.

I still recomend the Jornada 720 because the screen is super wide so reading things in MiniStumbler is really really easy...and they go for 200 or so dollars and they work great with the ORiNOCO Silver/Gold Cards. They are not the best PDAs in the world but they have the screen to do stuff that I personally don't think an iPaq can handle.
