Question on 0.4.0

Postby tim_ver » Mon Jun 27, 2011 11:41 pm

I have a quick question. When you find wireless networks using stumbler 0.4.0 that are active and not locked, and then go to the view available networks why is it that none of them show up in the view available for you to connect to? Ideas?

They are WIFI spots offered for free by local coffee shops and stores. I use this program when traveling to find them. But for some reason they do not show up on my view area.

So ask the coffee houses and store owners.....better to ask permission than to stand before a judge for illegal use of wireless.
