What's your ssid or AP name?

Postby paintballaddict » Sat Feb 27, 2010 11:54 pm

I've been following a similar thread over on dslreports.com and is kind of amusing to read, So I figured whats the harm in starting one here? So what's your SSID or AP name, and the reason behind the name (if any)?

Mine used to be "FBI_OFFICIAL_USE_ONLY" which I'm sure made people wonder from time to time... But now I've changed mine to a more straight forward "GO_FUCK_YOURSELF". Both names are just purely for fun and to screw with people... However my current SSID is pretty straight forward. :D

WPA2+AES soon to be WPA2 Enterprise w/ radius server.... With my key changed weekly I doubt anyone is going to have an easy time getting in .

I change it from time to time, but mine is usually WOPR.

BURCH

WPA2 + AES
Changes occasionally, and the key changes every so often as well

Crystal Palace...For the same reason as WOPR I would presume.

128bit WEP. No one around close enough that knows how to even turn a computer on to have to worry about someone breaking it. Plus if you sit out on my road for more than a few minutes, you will become part of the pavement. Idiots drive through the curve doing 20-25 MPH above the speed limit. If you park in someone's driveway, you get shot at before someone asks if you need assistance. I guess everyone figures if you're still there after getting shot at, then there's something wrong. I love my little part of the woods. :)

What is your router SSID? - dslreports.com

I figured I'd post a link to the thread I've been reading over at dslreports.. I can't remember how exactly I wound up in the Canadian section, but I was searching for something and came across this. Which inspired me to create this thread...
A few in there are interesting and even quite amusing... Enjoy :)
