Am I Screwed...?

Postby xor » Mon May 31, 2010 8:41 am

WAP54G/WRT54G with DD-WRT, setup as a client bridge, no dhcp enabled, and I forgot the local IP address, any suggestions? I can ping sweep, though not the most reliable method.

Local IP set somewhere between 192.168.0.0 and 192.168.35.0

Or am I screwed......?

It's a dangerous business, going out on the web.
You step onto the information highway, and if you
don't keep your mouse, there's no telling where
you might be swept off to.

I'd say hold the reset button for 10 seconds if you don't want to ping sweep. It then should be 192.168.2.1 I believe...

Try scanning with Cain. It uses ARP so it's damned quick. Barring that, scan for just port 80 using nmap.

This is why I put the router info on a post it note and stick it to the bottom of the device.
