Toluca Lake Here

Postby KidEternity » Sat Apr 27, 2002 10:54 pm

I'm over here in Toluca Lake. (It's sandwiched inbetween Burbank/Universal City and North Hollywood).

It would be nifty to swing a get together.

Anyone considered the 2600 meeting downtown?

the feebies can only bust one for something they can prove one did... therefore the elite egoists must always reconsinder the trade off of bragging-rights via jail-time...

- everyone always seems to forget that the truly elite never get caught, are never known, and always there!

"Ours is a lonely path"

As to 2600 being responsible for people getting in trouble, think again, that would be as silly as to say that NS is a honeynet for hackers so that the feebies can keep a heads up before anything crazy happens, and what better way than to have a gps unit that points where you start off from, somewhere nearby your reside eh? <wink>...

"Responsibility to the Responisible"

Hacking is not a crime, we all know that, even the feebies know that... it is proving that one used hacking as an instrument to commit a crime that will get a criminal convicted, and that is all they really care about... Don't get caught. Trust no one. If you do get caught, admit nothing... if all else fails, blame no one except yourself.

Every Mitnick has their Lenny, Every dog has their day, even when the dog is a Fed. Don't be the bone. You never hear them knocking and they only knock once.

Pardon all the cliche's... it has been a long 48 hours.

Speaking of LA, CA

Postby carbolic » Thu May 02, 2002 2:32 pm

Spent an hour wardriving downtown today. This time I drove up and down the main drags. Instead of just passing through.

Wowee. That's a lot of RF.

MEET MEET MEET MEET

I will be at E3 May 22-24. It would be convenient for me to meet in L.A. then. I will also have an extra Media badge for anyone who wants to see the exhibit floor for an hour or two.

Unfortunately Agoura Hills is too far for me to drive, especially because I am taking a few courses around that time as well...

Do you know of any OC Wireless Groups (non-HAM based) that you or anyone reading this would recommend?

One of the items for discussion will be potential meeting places. There is a possibility for a Pasadena location.

Postby blackwave » Wed May 08, 2002 10:18 am

Will there be a WLAN available for public use at the meeting?
