CNY - Hamilton/Morrisville/Madison

Postby MacEnvy » Mon Aug 02, 2004 11:18 am

Anyone driving the Hamilton/Madison/Morrisville Rt20 and Rt12b area? Get in touch - be nice to check out some other setups.

I use:
1)
Powerbook G3 400 (Pismo)
Airport 802.11b
cAntenna (etherdesigns.com) w/ MC pigtail
MacStumbler/iStumbler/AirStumbler and KisMAC

2)
iBook G4 800
Airport Extreme 802.11g
cAntenna (etherdesigns.com) w/ MC pigtail
MacStumbler/iStumbler/AirStumbler and KisMAC

Still trying to find a decent place to dremel my iBook for a better pigtail location ... I think the security lock hole is going to be the winning candidate. On the Pismo, the pigtail runs out from the PCMCIA port.

Syracuse? Don't you mean Circus shoes? That's what we call you from the home of the "Big yellow Box"

Dude, Utica has the Saranac Brewery that's reason enough. Free beer after the tour!. Not the best of neighborhoods though but good beer.

You might want to specify the borough. There are plenty around.

I've covered a good portion of SI, some of Brooklyn and some of Manhattan. (No, I don't live there, I just visit relatives.)

I currently reside in Staten Island but lived in Bensonhurst most of my life.
Staten Island and Manhattan are mostly covered for me. The other three boroughs I've only drove through if I had something to do over there so I didn't pick up too many.
