Postby mbstone99 » Fri Aug 22, 2003 12:20 pm

I can believe that.. On Saturday I was in downtown Toronto and just from the Eaton Centre to Union Station and back over Front to Yonge and back up to the Eaton Centre we got over 200 AP's in that small little area.

I live just outside of Toronto, but know people up in Sudbury. I'll be up there in 3 weeks and will have the laptop running on the drive up. So lets see what I'll be able to get.

I just finished coming from North Bay on the long weekend. I got about 80 AP's on the way north and 51 and the way back down. I'll be posting more detail on my blog(which you'll find the link below) in the next day or so.

Was only able to get 2 AP's in NB. Then again I didn't do LOT of driving around and really only had it going when I drove in and drove out of the City.

Only 2!? Geez... in a 15 Minute wardrive in a small section of Sudbury, I got over 30 APs... But my gf had her car insurance cancelled... So no wardriving for me. 'Cept on the city bus.

So you know some people here eh? That's pretty cool. While I'm thinking of it... What kind of setup do you have???

As for the AP's that was only in Northbay. On the drive down back to toronto area, I got 51 on the way up I got 81. And that was with the antenna in the car.

I am down in my states but my parents live in Ancaster and I come up there every couple months to visit. I've did a small wardrive around part of Ancaster, Hamilton through King & Main from Wellington to the Hwy 8 cutoff towards Ancaster.. through a bit of Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga and into Toronto. I'll actually be up there for Christmas and plan do do some more stumbling around the Hamilton area.
