Had an interesting experience driving down the M6 the other day. There had been an accident, and the northbound M6 had been closed around J14. Driving past going south, Kismet picked up someone's laptop sending probe requests. "RE4L1TY" anyone?

Picked up some stuff near Birmingham as well, will try Leeds sometime when I get a chance.

Doing Leeds

Postby Guest » Sat Mar 09, 2002 10:09 am

Hi,
Probably going to head that way next weekend, I'm on foot though so might not cover much ground :-/.

I would imagine there are much better pickings to be had there however. I'm in York, not the most technologically advanced city...

I mean, hardly anyone's heard of WEP here ;-P.

Businesses using wireless systems are exposed to hackers

Wireless technology; wireless security
London, 22 March 2002 - A new study has found 94% of London businesses using wireless networks in their offices to be vulnerable to hackers who can tap into IT systems by using nothing but a small antenna. Security weak-spots were exposed in over 5 000 wireless systems.

But "Servcices" is misspelled.
