In this are too

Me and another friend have catalogged a TON of sites but haven't got any easy way of putting them up or organizing them other than uploading them here. You going to DEFCON? If you're interested in hooking up I'll be there. Am local in the Manassas area - a few sites out here too. I commute to Reston from here - I couldn't stomache driving from Baltimore!

Hrm, and no I wouldn't say D.C. has gotten smart, I still get tons of insecure sites there. I even found an insecure site in Baltimore that was a medical clinic! My % seems to be about opposite of what you're seeing, dunno' why.

Favorite SID - "noneofyourfuckingbusiness" or somesuch. It was WEP. I've also gotten peer connections while driving that I'm pretty sure has been other Stumblers (lol). Have seen RadioFreeDoug as well.

Lemme' know if you want to hook up other than DEFCON if your local. Doesn't look like you guys have filled out the sites out near me and I'd be willing to share data (shrug).

I won't be at DEFCON - too busy with work and other things :p My Fiance and I did a bit of stumbling to Atlantic City over the weekend, and we drove downtown Baltimore Friday night (something like 89 APs in that area alone).

I picked up 190 or so APs today, to/from Reston (with a stop in Manassas).

Thanks to shok_wave and the mysterious forum admin I can finally post!!!

Actually, most of the script was shok's idea, I just put the code in motion. It has gone through many changes to become what you see now. I am sure I will continue to tweak and change it as we go along though.

I am willing to make it available to anyone that wants it but I must warn you, it isn't open source quality, and you WILL need to know PERL to modify it.

With that said, email me and I will send it to ya. Maybe if I get enough requests I will clean it up and make it easier to modify.

cpal_mcs- The script looks for two things in order to be listed as UNSECURE. It must have BOTH a default manufacturers SSID and no WEP enabled. We assume that if a WAP is in this condition the owner doesn't have a clue. Safe bet? We think so.

BLKMGK - I have that WAP you listed in my list as well. I think it came from the Fair Lakes area.

Blackwave - Do you have a job or anything? You post in damn near EVERY forum on this site :D

To VASTUMBLER,

I was not able to join Chris at Baltimore to do the coordinated wardriving. I was trapped in traffic for 2 hours (annapolis to baltimore), wasted time.

Next time again.
