Try downtown Baltimore. In one quick drive down Pratt street, I found a shitload of AP's. I only went from the convention center to 83N. I plan one doing some serious stumbling with the GPS in that area when time allows...

Drive up the Dulles Toll Road sometime. LOT'S of APs out there. Tysons, McLean, Langley, Vienna, and all over the place. This area is pretty thick with 802.11...

TSUNAMI

Postby Guest » Sun Apr 07, 2002 9:32 pm

Whoa! Must be a coincidence, but TSUNAMI is also active in Midtown Atlanta, some spots in Buckhead, and up by the King and Queen. No security.

Maybe a coincidence, but that'd be a big one.

Call it a strange coincidence but I have a tsunami here in a town in Illinois called Naperville.

It's near the corner of Rt. 59 and 95th St.

Not sure who it belongs to yet but it also has DHCP and no WEP.

hmmmmm.... where are the conspiracy theorists?

Tsunami is the Cisco default network name. Most people just are too lazy/don't know how to change it.

Thanks. Now I feel like a moron... :(

DC hunters, we need to unite.

We should hook up for one big sweep of the major areas. I have a site we can post the maps to. Would be interesting....
