Aparently its the first PPC app to do WEP cracking.

I can't get this running properly on my Imate PDA2K, (WM2003SE), I think the problem is to do with zero config wireless in Windows Mobile 2003.

Maybe you guys will have better luck.

Cheers

Nowhere am I able to see anything about it being able to crack WEP :

Could you elaborate on where you have the information about that capability ?

Nope don't think so, more a misguided user..

Eeye isn't a company known for spamming, and the retina wifi scanner mentioned above is a free util. Their other commercial products, such as Iris are very capable and professional tools.

I was just going to post that. It's a dictionary based attack only.

I'm trying it out now.

So far it looks like a keeper:

Not really good for stumbling since there's no GPS but a good wireless auditing tool.

It's a free download, I've put a copy of the manual online if you want to view it.

There is one nasty bug/product feature.

If you hit scan and the card isn't running or recognized it will continually post a dialog saying so at the scan rate. If you're really fast you may be able to hit ok and stop before the next dialog comes up otherwise you'll have to soft reset.

Also, don't let your PDA go into power save while it's running. It won't turn back on. Again, a soft reset will fix it.

Yeah I had that too. For me this happens if wifi is turned off. If you quick you can get rid of the dialog.
