I can remember when I made E-4 and my take home check was $47 ever two weeks, after deductions. Living in the barracks and eating in the chow hall left me the whole amount for cigarattes and alcohol at the Petty Officer's Club. Ah - Naval Air Facility, China Lake, CA .. I remember it too well.

They had money back then??

Naa, you're older than that. I'm sure you're so old that nuggets of gold and skins were the thing then.

Don't pick on Thorn due to his age. It's not his fault he was present and already in his prime, when Methusaleh was born..

Instead ya'll should thank him for his great contributions to humankind. Just think... Where would we have been if he hadn't invented the abacus ??!?

I posted the specs earlier, but they're also located here. I've got the older version working, but I wanted to compile the latest version on the machine. I was browsing the package listing, and it was already compiled by another user and uploaded, but I don't know how to do a package add of an unstable package.

I'll figure it out eventually.

Ouch.:p

Also, if anyone is in the Rochester, NY area, I'm going to be flying in there really late on the 7th of May, and then spending a week in Utica.

Cheers.

I'm sorry, so very sorry. But look on the bright side you can visit the Saranac Brewery! It's a free tour and you get a couple free pints to enjoy at the end! They contract brew Sam Adams there also. There's free wifi in the Rochester airport. It's under construction so the free business center is kinda in shambles. They had Cat5 hookups there. There's not much to do nearby the airport, there's a Holiday Inn on the other side of the road to stay, next nearest place would be 8 min away on Ridge road. If you have questions PM me.

Pre King James Bible...

1:1 - In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
1:2 - And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.

And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

1:3 - And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
1:4 - And God saw saw Thorn, and said "Hey! Who the hell are you!"

Or there'd be some more hotels the other way on the freeway and just get off at the 15A.

As he said, there's not a damn interesting thing to do here in Rochester.
