1: 1997 Ford Contour
This is my "daily driver" vehicle. It's better suited for stumbling than my Jeep and is much more comfortable. I won't ride with my laptop on my motorcycle, so it's not even a candidate for stumbling.

2: Compaq Presario R3030US
2.66GHz, 60mb HD, 512mb RAM, 15.4" WXGA display, integrated Broadcom 802.11b/g
WinXP/Fedora Core 1

3: Maxxtro USB->RS232 Convertor
For GPS connectivity

4: Garmin GPSMAP 60C
I love my Garmin. :D

5: Kyocera 7135 PalmOS SmartPhone
In case I need (legal) Internet connectivity while stumbling...

6: 150W Power Inverter
Can't see it very well in the pic, but it's mounted to the left side wall of the glove compartment. I also have a 325W inverter but I keep that with my off-roading gear. 150W is enough to power my laptop without a problem.

7: Lucent Orinoco "Gold" 802.11b PCMCIA card
It's got an external antenna connector - the Broadcom in the Compaq doesn't. :mad:

8: Pringles Cantenna
Built it a couple of days ago. I'm waiting for the Orinoco pigtail that I bought on eBay a few days ago before I can test it.

9: Samsonite Business One Mobile Office
To carry all this stuff around in...
