Need help choosing outdoor wifi adapter - please help!

Postby uafon » Wed Apr 06, 2011 12:59 am

People, I need help!

I need wifi adapter for my vehicle. I searched few places and found few good divices, but most of them cost over 250$, and my budged is no more than 100$ for a good outdoor wifi adapter. One friend suggested UAWIFI UA3, he said he uses it for long time now, and never had any problems with it. I looked it up on www.uawifi.com, and I like it, but before I buy it, I would like to know if anybody else bought this adapter and have some info about it. Thanks in advance.

What about the effect of usb 1.0 versus 2.0? That seems to make a difference if your antenna is plugged in to the usb port. USB 2.0 is over 40 times faster and should make a big difference in my opinion.
