I rolled into Reading this morning at 7:30 am. 22 straight hours, Sioux Falls SD to Reading PA! Slept all day, ha ha.

I'll be around all weekend. theprez98-at-yahoo-dot-com. Shoot me an email and I will get you my cell #.

Funny story, the bungees did a pretty good job, even at 80 mph. However, in South Dakota the ladder started moving pretty good. I added the rubber bungees that don't flex as much and it worked 4.0. I could have bought rope but that would have been too easy...

My Wardriving kit, on the cheap.

Postby smokeybehr » Tue Apr 12, 2005 6:25 pm

IBM 600e
Senao 200mW card with twin external 3dB antennas
Garmin eTrex GPS
NetStumbler
90w 12v-120v inverter

I take this with me in the work truck every day so that I can grab the email as the day goes along, and surf the net at lunch. There's 4 APs that I can hit from the parking lot or alley behind the office, with excellent SNR on all of them. There's also a couple of regular spots that I know work well when I'm out and about.

And I'm quite sure that you have permission to 'hit' these access points that you do not own?

These APs are provided free-of-charge for customers of the establishments where they are housed. I'm an occasional customer of the establishments. I also have free access with my DSL and PAYGo with t-mo.
