I would like to see some sort of updateable file in the next version of NetStumbler. Presently with v 0.4.0, I've been getting a lot of [Fake] APs which I assume are newer products with MACs that NS doesn't know about like:
Belkin Pre-N
Belkin 125
Netgear 108
Netgear Double 108
Linksys Speedbooster
Linksys w/ SRX
It would be nice if when v. 0.5.0 (?) comes out, if there was a file we could download occasionally that would have an updated database. What I'm thinking of is similar to what you would download for Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware software.

We've discussed it before. Don't forget too, that the FAKE designator may be displayed if someone has to clone the MAC for their broadband connection.

I have the MAC cloned on my Linksys router and it still shows up as Linksys instead of [Fake] which is why I didn't think that would affect it.
