2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee setup

Does anyone have a setup in a 2003 Jeep GC? Specifically, I'm looking to buy a notebook "cradle" (like the cop setups) that I can mount between the seats...with swivel and/or extension option...for the laptop to rest on. I've checked out the RAM Mount setups but they don't have one for my year model.

Any help on websites/dealers? Thanks!

Thanks for the help, Thorn and Streaker69. I hadn't found galls.com and jottodesk during my lengthy google search prior to asking for help....the RAM Mount was nixed prior to starting this thread b/c it doesn't offer options for my specific Jeep model.

I bought a ~$30 one on eBay. A plexiglass shelf with a metal catch and iron pipe. A friend of mine helped me build a sturdy base for it so I can put it in my Jeep (passenger side) without bolting anything to the floor. Of course, with a passenger along I have to move it to the back.

Would you happen to have any pictures of this base. I have one just haven't installed it because I don't want to bolt it down.

This is a picture from behind the driver's seat, but it doesn't show the base. Basically, we cut a board as a base, cut some 2x4s to make it sturdy, and then screwed the pipe right onto the base. I'll see if I have any better pictures. This is running NetStumbler at Mt. Rushmore. ;)
(btw, 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee)

Here's a JottoDesk mount in a 2000 Jimmy. Might give you some ideas. Mine is held to the platform by three strips of velcro, each one about 6" long. I've never had a problem with it moving around.

Yeah, but it was a free one. Theft recovery and all.

Yep that's how they do it. The first one is free, then your hooked. Next thing you know your down in the basement trying to resurrect a 486. I've seen it happen again and again. Later your so strung out on Pentiums that it just doesn' t do it for you anymore and you need a bigger high. That's when you hit rock bottom and start doing Mac.

No way man, I'd never do the hardcore stuff like Mac. All I wanted was a pepsi, just one pepsi and she wouldn't get it for me, just one pepsi.
