Hmmm how does one wardrive from one's Kitchen?

Looks more like something one would use to "borrow" a signal not paid for by themselves

Don't have a pic, but my rig consits of:

Dell Inspiron B120 Notebook
Dell Wireless 1370 WLAN Mini-PCI Card
Microsoft/Pharos GPS-360 puck (the one that came with MS Streets and Trips 2006)
No external antenna yet, have the propper pigtail ordered from pilgrimsellers ebay store. Will be getting a magnetic mount Omni, and building a Cantenna too use when wardriving

Software used while wardriving consists of:
NetStumbler
MS Streets and Trips 2006 (for tracking my route )
GPSGate 2.0 (Express version, will probably upgrade to the full version at a later time)
Apple iTunes (with my iPod hooked up and set to randomly play the songs) for the wardriving tunes

I will post pics as soon as I get around to digging out my digital camera.

Well my stumbling rig has changed somewhat.

I still am using:
Dell Inspiron B120 Notebook
Dell Wireless 1370 WLAN Mini-PCI Card
Microsoft/Pharos GPS-360 puck (the one that came with MS Streets and Trips 2006)

But now have added:
19" u.fl to RP-SMA pigtail (purchased from pilgrim seller)
D-Link 7Dbi Indoor Omni-directional Antenna with a magnetic mount base. Since it only cost me about $15 after an instant rebate and a 15% coupon that I had for the store I bought it at, I figured that at that price if it gets ruined it isn't a big lose. I mounted the antenna to the roof of my car and went stumbling with it. Ended up going down the expressway with it mounted to my roof at 70 MPH (ok, ok, it was actual about 80 MPH, 10MPH over the posted speed) and suprisingly the antenna and mount stayed in place, now I am looking at a way to weatherproof the antenna and mount, have a couple ideas that I may try, then again I could always keep the antenna in the car when it is raning and what not.

Waiting for the panel mount to get here so that I can build a cantenna. Looking at 7-10 business days for it to get here.
