Oh, so you think a noiselevel of -100 is correct ? Think again, then go read the NS documentation. Unless it uses a Hermes chipset (and it doesn't), it will NOT report correct noiselevels, and therefore the SNR is moot and invalid.

Hmm..now that I look at it, you are correct..noise level shows up as -100 for all, but the SNR is different.

Oh well, I dont even know what those mean for me anyway.

BTW..this is the connector for my GPS

Could it be because the signal level is changing? :rolleyes:

<sarcasm>
WHAT ? You mean the signal level changes ? What will they think of next.. And to add insult to spite, they didn't say anything about it when I bought it.
You think I can get a refund ? Or can I change the signal level back to the nonchanging one ?
</sarcasm>

Do you often make categorical statements about things you know that you don't know anything about ? Because if you do, you'll be considered a relative of citrus and mbolgian in just a few more posts.
And trust me, you don't want that to happen.

Whew, for a second there I thought mbolgian was back. Thanks for clearing that up for me, Dutch. ;)

Duh ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...that was funny right guys? LOL...LMAO...DUH HA HA HA HA HA HA

You are all sooooooo SAD!!! And I mean SAD!!!

Get outside more (during the day GEEK). Treat your flaky dry skin to more water, orange juice and eat a few more vitamins. This will help that little problem of yours clear up and will stop making the rest of us sick when we see you in line at the store with mountains of dry skin on the shoulders of your shirts and hanging onto the hair poking out of your hat!

I cannot remember the last time that I logged into a forum where there wasn't a group of assholes like you waiting to pounce. Why not just answer the fucking question(s) or provide usable data and move on. Okay, you win. You're the man! You know everything. You’ve conquered the geek world. Here is your award:

Please do not use the term 'citrus' in posts, it triggers my autoprotection mechanism, consisting of a chute rigged to an escape pod that catapults me to a desert island with no internet connection, or even electricity for that matter...getting back to write this proves awfully expensive!

This has been said a gazillion times... SNR = (Signal / Noise) ˆ 2 (the / means 'divide', it is not part of a URL, for those mathematically challenged), thus if either signal or noise change, the SNR will also change. If you want it in dB you have to start involving base-10 logs, but that will prolly overload your half-neuron.

Oh, and paint that laptop black or something, it's hideous.
