I was driving along the highway on the way home after visiting trhe folks w/ the laptop open.. About every 500 feet i would pick up a cisco router w/ no ssid but a diff mac each time. I then began to look on the highway and there was a cart w/ 2 large solar panels and 2 what appeared to be yagi's enclosed in pvc one poining each way down the highway. I am really curious what these are used for.. Great to know how our government spends money...

BTW i was in a construction zone going about 3 mph while this occured...

Moved. By the way, please stop the AOL talk. It drives people crazy and attracts flames.

Probably allows the construction workers to communicate via wireless, something like the sears conspiracy... But this is only a guess, because I have never seen this. Just how far down the road did you detect this contraption for and for how long each time?

Well, as you must know by now...aliens are not good with directions, evident by their zig-zagging maneuvers in the skies at night, so the feds had to figure out some way to let the little green fucks find their way to the facility. Being short, and we all know that they have a WiFi transmitter up their asses (hence, the anal probing of humans...they're just trying to figure out who's b, g or b/g), the antennas from the gov't boxes buried in the sand don't need to be all that powerful so they are thin and barely protrude from the surface.

Seriously, what's the mystery here...?

They're not green, they're gray.

That's what they want you to believe anyway...

Besides, everyone knows UFOs are just a distraction from the REAL conspiracy theories: G-8, New World Order, Illuminatti, Moonies, and who actually killed Kennedy.*

:D

*For the record, I have many witnesses where I was that day. Sister Francois' 2nd Grade class to be exact.

Sorry

I've seen similar rigs a bit farther south. There are dozens of these trailers at an I-95 construction project on the south side of Boca Raton. The trailers feature a telescopic mast with a camera dome and yagis pointing in opposite directions parallel to the highway (they appear to link the stations to each other.) I wasn't carrying a camera when I saw these devices, maybe a WPB stumbler can grab some pics.
