Do you want client or AP? Here's what I have - and some of them are already on your list - as different brands - it's one way of telling who makes what for whom

PC Cards

00:40:96 - Xircom (OEM-Cisco)
00:02:2D - IBM (OEM-Lucent)

Accesspoint

00:90:4B - Xircom (OEM-Gemtek)

Thank You Sir!

I received both email and via the link :)

For kicks I repacked it with .RAR(so it would fit under the restricted limit), and I had to rename it .ZIP so the php uploader would work... it doesn't accept .RAR... TRiCKy ;)
(if you have the latest winRar you don't have to bother renaming it back to rar...) (zip ratio is a little clunkier)

PS.. this would be a good thing to add our FAQ

I know.. I used to be ant-rar back in the day.. but now with v3 ... it is the best darn compressor to date... and what is super neato about it is that it handles all other forms of compression... :)
RAR, ZIP, CAB, ARJ, LZH, ACE, TAR, GZip, UUE, BZ2, JAR, ISO and the integration is wonderful.. it is all so yummy!

Cool, thanks guys. That's a pretty darn complete list.... :)

Is there any way to pick out which of these guys are regular old wireless APs?

hell yeah, winrar is the shiznit. i pay for good software and i sure as hell paid for winrar. it *is* much better than zip. being a news groupie i like the ability to chunk the archive into multiple pieces of a certain size. i guess zip has that feature once again? i don't know, i don't pay attention. why should i when i have rar? =)

so, on top of the already huge list of MAC manufacturer prefixes, i have another piece of info to add. i just downloaded all the GPS AP's from the wigle database to map them. i remembered this thread and, being the nice guy i am, decided to parse out the unique MAC prefixes. so here it is, in zip to make it easy, for anybody who wants to use the info.
