299 APs from Irvine to Balboa

200 of those are NEW to to the databases available.
Pretty quiet night out there... noticed most APs were not WEP enabled... some SSID's even were using their SSIDs from there WEP keys... other users in this nice demographic area has their street numbers to help a stumbler out ;)

Normally I use my ORiNOCO Gold, but decided to try out those 1150's that we all bought on overstock.com... worked super great :)

(see attached...)
used:
MiniStumbler
iPAQ 3975
Dell TrueMobile 1150
5dBi Fab-Corp MagMount
Garmin eTrex Legend

post if you wanna show up so we can know how many ppl to expect.... maybe ill stop by and get a GPS reading on a good location, then you all can try to find it, ill make it pretty easy.

lets get together, anyone that went last night to the socalwug meet would be cool to talk to, and see what else went on...

I'm all for it. If Blackwave shows up I'll have his antenna too, if he wants it earlier than October 4th!

I will be in Long Beach in the morning and can be at Del Amo around 1-2pm. I think I'll totally geek out and wear al my gear, plus an appropriate Defcon shirt to boot. Ooh since I can actually wear my gear I need the "Wardriving is not a crime" t-shirt!
If anyone wants a ride form Long Beach I have a few seats open, e-mail me before 7:30am Saturday. There is a food court in Del Amo mall, park at the north end and that will be a closer point. If you park by Sears you'll have a long walk. I have not been there in a few years, I hope not much has changed.
