For those of us that live close to each other. I'd like to setup NAN's and backup Internet connections with a wireless backbone.

I go from Agoura to San Clemente a lot. This trek gives me ample choices of which freeways to take.

As you can see by the low hit count, I haven't been down there since I got my fab-corp antenna.

I've been stumbling around South Pasadena, Pasadena, and Alhambra, etc. Tons of residential AP's in SPas.
Sure I would be interested in meeting.

A friend and I spent a whole day in SB a couple days ago. Found a huge number of APs in our driving.

Including one I picked up from a hilltop 3 miles away!

We are going to write up our adventure after pouring through all the data, pictures, and video. :)

Santa Cruz/Palo Alto, CA anyone?

I live in Santa Cruz and work in Palo Alto - both rich pickings (especially Palo Alto).

I just got back from a trip to Disneyland and I stumbled from the 57/91 interchange to the 10/91 interchange in San Bernardino. I picked up a lot of APs (over 20) just using an iPAQ with a WL110 (no antenna).

I drive out that way a lot.

It would be cool if some peeps could put something (a meet) together.

I have an iPaq H38700 with an Orinocco gold and I also use an old IBM ThinkPad 760e with an Orinocco gold card and mag mount antenna.
There's a lot of activity in Santa Cruz...especially downtown.
